Hamlin Beach is an expansive park with wide open spaces and sweeping views of Lake Ontario. A long paved walking path parallels the lake and is wheelchair accessible. There's plenty of picnic tables, stationary grills,and pavilions to enjoy a day at the beach.
Not a bad beach day! Went with my wife, mother in law, and niece. $9 total for entry to the beach for the entire vehicle regardless of how many people inside the car. We arrived at about 11:30 am on a sunny 95° Sunday.
We visited Hamlin Beach State Park just for the beach on Lake Ontario, and it did not disappoint! The park is very clean and well-organized with plenty of parking, multiple playgrounds, and lots of picnic tables. Lake Ontario itself is stunning, and the beach is easy to enjoy with all the amenities provided.
Absolutely love the times we get to go to Hamlin. There’s just so much you can do. The views are amazing. There’s tons of bike paths and walking paths. The pavilions are great for cooking holding large family get-togethers.
