This is the third time we have visited and stayed at hammock beach. We stayed in suite with extended family for the week. The condo was very nice with front ocean view. The furniture was definitely in need of replacing in some areas. Dated, dark and scratched.
We absolutely love staying at this resort and always look forward to coming back. Every visit has been a wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we need.
This was our second visit to Hammock Beach, and it only confirmed what we already knew, this place is truly one of a kind. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was absolutely remarkable. The staff here sets a standard that is rarely seen in the hospitality industry.
Beautiful views and amazing service . I loved how family friendly this place is and the service and food is top notch. What can make this place great? The rooms are very out dated, the buildings are not well maintained . Many areas need to be pressure washed and painted. You can tell it hasn’t been done in a long time.
Getting married at Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
