Chose this place for an impromptu getaway and could not have been happier with my decision. Spent the morning shopping in South Hampton, the afternoon on the beach and dinner at an amazing restaurant in Hampton Bays. Dune road is a peaceful place surrounded by nature and lots of birds, singing to you all day.
Beach front hotel, excellent service, and prime location. They offer free snack, a refrigerator full of water, soda, hot dogs, different types of hamburgers (to be grilled by guests) and many other type foods all day long. Good for family and relaxation.
The Hamptons Ocean Resort was a great little get away. The location could not be better and amenities were perfect. The only way you could be closer to the beach is if you slept on the sand. Very clean and the staff were very welcoming and nice.
Lived in the Hamptons for 30 years. Great place super location. Visit and explore. I own the movie rights to Dead Hamptons a murder mystery based on true events.
Getting married at Hampton Ocean Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
