The Inn Spot was a perfect weekend retreat from the city. The location is right next to the water and they have a large outdoor area with chairs, tables and hammocks for you to sit beside the water. This location was pet friendly and my dog was a big fan of the large grassy yard.
We had a great experience staying here. Besides the location being beautiful, the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful with anything we needed and any questions we had about the area. The location was perfect too, very close to the beaches and a short drive from some really good restaurants. We'll be back!
Beautiful spot on the water. This is one of the few places that says they have waterfront views that actually does have waterfront views. The owner was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were spotlessly clean and cozy. Lovely spot with great sea breezes. This place's quality is not reflected on it's website at all.
Great location for those looking to enjoy activities on both forks. Checking in was done remotely. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. The restaurant next door is newly re-opened, so expect "company" during peak season.
Getting married at The Inn Spot
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
