This is our 2nd time staying at Hanalei Bay Resort and in the same condo unit. We love it here. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.. well everyone on the island is..
Beautiful place, well kept for its age, lovely staff and great service. Room was fabulous! Great patio/balcony with table&chairs for dining outfoors. A steep hike down the paved path to the beach. You can borrow beach chairs & umbrella from the sales office for free. 2 great eateries on site.
I asked for a room with a view. The mountains on this island of Kauai are like no other I’ve ever seen. It is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been in my life. The property is immaculate. The workers are very polite and leave you alone. But there to help there’s plenty of room for everyone.
Great resort with so many interesting nuisances. First time in Hawaii and spent all of it at this resort in Kauai. We did several day trips since I can only sit by the pool so long. Rooms are great and well maintained but the resort isn't brand new.
Getting married at Hanalei Bay Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
