Awesome owners/managers. Great location. Represents traditional Oregon coast culture well.
Such a wonderful spot to getaway with friends and family. Enjoy the soothing sounds of the ocean before falling asleep and begin your day with peaceful vibes. Be sure to reserve your rentals early in advance as they do go quickly on holiday weekends. If you're looking for a private place to relax, check this spot out!
We love it at Happy Camp Hideaway. We come up every year from Arizona and love it every time. Our daughter loves the beach and play area and we love the stunning ocean views from the wrap around porch on the Homestead house (#4).
A beautiful beach. Great for rock hounding. You don't have to stay at happy camp to enjoy the beach it is free with free parking. Great spot to take kids to get them out.
Getting married at Happy Camp Hideaway
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
