We went here for the first time with our family of six, last weekend. It has beautiful views of the harbor and the Car Ferry's! Great place for families with small kids, because of the awesome playground. Nice place to take a walk or run. Also had a beautiful pavilion with public restrooms!
Very friendly reception, even with a unique payment situation! The hot tub here is a nice place to soak and meet new boat people!
Harbor view is beautiful, luddington Bay is beautiful. It’s a must see in your life.
Very clean picnic area with several very nice picnic tables. Covered picnic shelter, Covered garbage bucket area. The views of the harbor, the marina with their boats, seaguls and very friendly locals passing by. Lawn was well cut and 3 gas grills available for use. Couldn't find a thing wrong.

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
