Reliving history lumber baron style. The Stearns hotel is the last remaining luxury hotel in Ludington from the lumber Baron era. Dated? Yes. Luxurious? Yes. This hotel has the grandeur and dignity of a woman slightly past her prime still wearing fine clothing and feathery boas and still confident in her beauty.
Love the historic charm. Service is always topnotch. This isn't your normal cookie cutter hotel which makes the experience unique. The venue is amazing Instagram worthy pictures. They go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied.
From the moment I arrived at Stearns Motor Inn, I was struck by its perfect blend of classic charm and modern comfort. As someone who appreciates thoughtful hospitality and meticulous attention to detail, I can confidently say this inn stands out as a true gem in Ludington.
A great location in Ludington to walk around the shops and enjoy the restaurants. The place is outdated, which can also be a part of its charm. My only real complaints are that the bed was so hard it was difficult to sleep on and that the bar/nightclub opens at 9 pm.

Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge.
