As a member of Hernando Beach Club, I can honestly say this place feels like home. From the moment you walk in, you're treated like family and not just a guest. I had my wedding planned here, and although I unfortunately had to cancel, the way they handled everything meant so much to me.
This is what I have always called my secret place. This is the best waterfront event location in Hernando County with the best views ever! I joined the beach club when I was young. I have had my 16th birthday here, my wedding here and grew up here. Now my husband and 2 little boys love it just as much I do.
FABULOUS!! Staff,views, everything!!! I catered a wedding here and I have to say....it was probably my favorite venue and I've been working in the industry for more than 30 years!
Beautiful Views - Great Venue! Highly recommend for intimate occasions. We recently had our Great Aunt's 100th birthday party at the Hernando Beach Club (over 80 in attendance) and everyone loved the venue and it's scenery...the sunset is a MUST! You may even be lucky enough to see dolphins in the evening.

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
