Right on the beach, dogs allowed and yet the rooms were spotless. This was a fantastic stay. The only con I could give is that the neighbors woke us up with their TV blasting. Other than that, we will definitely be staying again. Jerry and the other staff are extremely helpful.
Absolutely loved this place. I rented a one bedroom condo #6 that was very clean, beautifully decorated and had partial view of ocean and river which was cozy with a log burning in the fireplace. Rates are very resonable, less than other full suites or condos that are below standards!
I've stayed here numerous times over the years. I've tried different condos, from the corner side suite with the bedroom sauna, to your basic room with a Kitchen. I have to say, no matter where it was, I was always delighted with the homey feel and warm welcome I was given.
No service was needed. The welcome was friendly, and help was offered when needed. - not needed. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Ours had a wheelchair ramp on the porch with the sliding door. The main entry isn't easy if you need help or use a walker.
Getting married at Hi-Tide Ocean Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
