Here’s my only beef!!! And maybe this is just Maui vs Cabo and it was my first time. But EVERYTHING cost money! All the cool hula lessons, lei making classes, ect. cost money and that was super annoying. It’s very affordable considering what’s around you.
We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Vacation Club Kaanapali Beach and left feeling very impressed with the resort’s prime location and relaxing atmosphere. The property sits right on the beach with stunning ocean views and direct, easy access to the sand just steps away.
Definitely some good and some just okay. As far as the normal Hilton Grand Vacation feel, there are better stays out there. We are used to a truly full kitchen and a washer/dryer. They rooms don't have those now. I believe there are plans to change that for some rooms.
I was very skeptical reading reviews, however I had an excellent stay! We booked 2 balcony villas & checked in Dec 15-22nd 2025. Staff, scenery, accommodations were excellent!
Getting married at Hilton Vacation Club Ka'anapali Beach Maui
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
