My daughter and I and three grandchildren spent a couple of days here and we absolutely loved it. It was very clean. All the information was on their website and on my Holiday Inn app so there were no surprises as far as the billing went.
We needed an overnight stay in town before boarding our cruise and this was a great place to stay. Clean, quiet, the staff is very nice and our ocean view was amazing and so peaceful. This is a great place to stay if you’re flying in from Houston and need a stay prior to boarding a cruise at the port.
We loved this location and especially how many activities they had for kids including movies and crafts. They also enjoyed the pool party with free sno cones and loved doing the craft at the kids club. They also loved the hours of the lawn activities and utilizing them multiple times too.

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
