From the reviews
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in the relaxed luxury of Hope and Glory Inn. Our lovely cottage was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and furnished with everything we needed for relaxation and comfort.
We both really enjoyed our stay here in one of their cottages. Dudley and Peggy really care about their guests. The property and grounds are in excellent shape. They have a micro winery on site which is unique and the wine is delicious! If you haven’t been to Irvington, it’s really cool.
We had a wonderful stay at the Hope and Glory Inn! Phenomenal hosts who are like new friends! Delicious and amazing breakfasts delivered to the cottage! Beautiful location in such a quaint and peaceful town, near the water, unique shops, and more. Sparkling clean, quiet, and restful.
John and I were looking for a comfortable get a way spot in an excellent setting and the Hope and Glory Inn was the right place for us. Peggy and Dudley are excellent hosts. We are looking forward to another visit to Irvington.
Getting married at Hope and Glory Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
