Highly recommended!!!! I recently spent a relaxing weekend day at Huntington Shores Resort & Spa and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind and enjoy the beach.
Of all of the Opal Resorts we've stayed at thus far, this one is our favorite. Everything is very well managed. Location is absolutely perfect, right on the beach, and at the base of the Hutchinson Bridge. Fantastic restaurant on site. The rooms facing the ocean are obviously the best. :)
Had an amazing visit. Brian with food service/room delivery was exceptionally polite. Rene with the beach umbrellas also was amazing along with all the staff here. The resort itself is luxurious and very private. All of the resort was immaculately clean. We will definitely be back again.
Getting married at Hutchinson Shores Resort & Spa
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
