I recently had the pleasure of working with the team at the I.T. Parker Community Center for my friends wedding and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The staff was professional, organized, and extremely accommodating throughout the entire process.
My 1st time back after a wedding 15 years ago. The facility is very well kept. I was there for an event sponsored by the Lions Club for Special Needs Group. What a fantastic day! It is kind of hard to find hidden back behind a bunch of commercial marinas and boat repair facilities.
If you just want to get away for a while and enjoy calmness and just enjoy getting away from the Miami madness, this is the place. The boat docks are easily accessible as well as wheelchair access everywhere. Great venue for a birthday, wedding, or just an awesome place for any event.
Fantastic Venue, clean, spacious, loved the view. Parking was a bit congested other than that no complaints….
Getting married at I T Parker Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
