Most pleasant place we have stayed at in rock hall, from the friendliness of our host(merana) to the warm cozy atmosphere of the Inn itself. Wonderful pine library loaded withe great books and music. Grounds are well kept and setting is most relaxing!
We attended our God Son’s wedding this past weekend. May/2026 The accommodations were beyond our expectations! The beautiful grounds and all the quaint personal touches made this weekend one for the books. The Inn’s owners, Jim and Joanne, are kind , thoughtful, accommodating , and a wealth of Rock Hall history.
The owners and staff were very friendly and hospitable. Our cottage was clean and cozy. The dogs gave us a warm welcome. If you need a nice getaway this is the spot to relax and be refreshed. Wonderful grounds to walk and clear your mind. I would recommend to all to come and enjoy!
Our 7th stay here and one of our most memorable with the beautiful Christmas season snowfall! We come back each year for the delicious food, the warm hospitality, the cozy accommodations, and the natural beauty of the grounds. We will return soon!
Getting married at Inn at Huntingfield Creek and Getaway Cottages
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
