We got married here in June 2024 and absolutely loved every minute of our wedding weekend! Osprey Point is the perfect place to get married, especially if you want a wedding on the Chesapeake. Had the pleasure to celebrate our wedding at Osprey Point in November. From Deanna on down the staff was incredible and made our big day everything we could have hoped for.
Review is for the restaurant - have not stayed at the Inn. We went there for our anniversary dinner in early November. It was a chilly evening, and there space was cozy with a warm fire.
Our stay at Osprey Point was absolutely wonderful! The staff was warm and welcoming, the rooms were beautifully appointed, and the views were simply breathtaking. We’ve been coming here for over 20 years and just absolutely love this place and the incredible staff. A perfect getaway—we can’t wait to return!
Getting married at Osprey Point Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
