From the reviews
The property was excellent. The town is very small but very peaceful and quaint in a great way. There are limited other food options but the restaurant on property is open for lunch and dinner and is truly great and with very reasonable prices.
Restaurant has a very beautiful view. Food was fresh and was delighted with what I ordered! Love the service, really have some kind hearted people here. Definitely am going to come again with my family!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Inn at Whittier, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Nestled right along the waterfront, the inn offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere that perfectly complements the stunning Alaskan surroundings.
The hospitality at Inn at Whittier, Alaska, is truly outstanding. After a long day with a large group of Hawaiians, we initially intended to rent a room just for a shower before catching the last convoy out of Whittier, but the staff kindly allowed us to use one of the rooms. We are so grateful for their generosity.
Getting married at Inn At Whittier Alaska
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
