We had our family vacation here last month and I cannot say enough good things about Isla Grand. We were in a condo on the 9th floor. The condo was nice and the views were amazing. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. The beach was beautiful and we had fun playing in the waves. The highlight was the pool!
Great location and facility. Stayed in a condominio on the 6th floor and truly enjoyed the rooms and mainly the views. Older property but had everything to make it a wonderful getaway. The pools and Jacuzzis where great. The restaurant was nice. The night club was entertaining.
Me and my hubby had our little honeymoon there and it was absolutely fabulous. We plan to return next year. You can tell the building is old but it is well kept. We stayed in the king oceanview and loved it. Chris at the quarterdeck bar made our day as well. Perfect customer service.
We had a great time here! The service is fantastic, there's plenty of things going on at the resort, and the location can't be beat. Definitely will return!
Getting married at Isla Grand Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
