Isla Grand Beach Resort on South Padre Island is a tropical getaway that exudes a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere. Set right on the beach, the resort offers stunning ocean views and direct beach access. Its lush, landscaped grounds with palm trees and tropical plants create a serene and inviting ambiance.
What a gem we stumbled upon! The Quarterdeck is located at the Isla Grand Hotel right down from The Pearl hotel. It’s an indoor venue with live bands and 2 bars inside, the service is prompt and friendly. The drink prices are inexpensive and if you like dirty martinis, these guys can mix an outstanding one!
Great bartender spinning great tunes (Went in the afternoon before the band started playing and things turnt up). Felt like the most upscale of the resorts multiple bars. If you wanted to dress up a little bit one nite during your beach trip, this is the spot.
Comfortable, clean. Great service. Good drinks and food. Nice upscale great venue for lounge entertainment. Enjoyed a comedy show this year and music in the past.
Getting married at Quarterdeck- Isla Grand Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
