This beach is incredible. We were able to walk out into the water so far and still could touch. I felt like I was in a movie. It was so fun and the water was warm. I'm talking warm enough that I could just easily walk in the water with comfort. It was like warm bath water and the people there were really nice as well.
Fantastic venue. Adjacent to the Jamestown settlement and museum facilities. Beautifully maintained, easy access and overall a great time. Enjoy a relaxing break from touring the museum and settlement areas. Definitely worth the visit. Enjoyed watching the boats sailing by and the tranquility of it all.
Just went to see the sunset and gave us the most breathtaking sunset I have ever seen so far. The water was nice and the beach was clean but the view was awesome. If you are near there on vacation just go and check it out.
Getting married at Jamestown Beach Event Park

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
