Honestly such an excellent experience. The resort is beautiful and well maintained. It’s a historic property and should be explored. The pool is gorgeous and relaxing and deep! You can hang out at the bar or get service right to your pool lounger or cabana.
We’ve stayed at both the Jekyll Island Club and the Beach Club, and one of our favorite things is having access to both properties during our stay. It gives you the best of both worlds, the historic charm of the Island Club and the relaxed oceanfront atmosphere of the Beach Club.
Thank you for keeping your reservation staff in house. They are such a pleasure to deal with and very knowledgeable. I spoke with Patina, twice in reference to having to reschedule my visit due to an injury. She could not have been more understanding and gracious.
I had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It was full a charm but what really made the experience was the staff. Every team member was warm, welcoming and genuinely cared about creating memorable experience. Highly recommend, make sure to say hi to CJ the Guest Experience Manager.
Getting married at Jekyll Island Club Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
