From the reviews
A very interesting looking venue. I don't know what this building was in its past but using it for a wedding venue certainly is a neat idea. I attended a wedding here in June 2025 with approximately 150 guests.
I truly could not have asked for a better experience than what I had with Jones River Trading Post, and especially with Michele the event coordinator. From the very beginning, she was an absolute dream to work with.
We planned our wedding in less than five months, and Michele and the team at Jones River Trading Post, made this so easy! The space is beautiful, indoors and out; the food is delicious; the staff is friendly and competent. Michele, the venue coordinator, is awesome!
We had our wedding here last weekend and everything turned out perfect! Michele was awesome to work with. Right when I met her my stress level went down and I knew she would have it under control.
Getting married at Jones River Trading Post
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
