I can't express enough how perfect our wedding day was at 1620 Winery. From the moment we toured the venue, we knew it was the one. The setting is nothing short of breathtaking. The venue has such a warm, romantic feel. The staff was incredible and so accommodating.
We recently got married at the 1620 Winery - and we could not recommend it enough. They truly take care of everything and are able to accommodate your specific ideas. Jenn was brilliant and she was easy to get in touch with. She answered all of our questions and made the process very easy.
Choosing 1620 Winery as our wedding venue was one of the first - and best - decisions we made throughout the entire planning process!! From our first tour, it was clear how much the owners care about their clients. That, the wine, and the venue itself being absolutely gorgeous sealed the deal for us.
I don’t even know where to start. We got married here on New Year’s Eve and it was just exactly the fairytale wedding that we dreamed it would be. We went to an event here when we first started dating and before we even got engaged, we booked this venue. I had to have it!
Getting married at 1620 Winery at Cordage Park
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
