This is my new favorite hotel! I'm not kidding! We were at the tail end of a women & dogs camping trip on the South Coast and looking to spend our last night of memorial Day weekend in a soft bed with a hot shower.
I had the opportunity to stay here while visiting the southern Oregon coast, and the riverfront location is truly spectacular. Waking up to the view of the Rogue River every morning was a highlight, and the resort offers a fantastic variety of amenities that make it feel like a self-contained getaway.
After a long trip and coming across Jot's resort we were looking for value. We couldn't see what the rooms looked like, but when we walked into the room we were really surprised. Cozy and clean, and every room has a balcony and view.
Unbeatable view looking out the back patio over the river right at the convergence of the ocean. Got to watch and hear sea lions swimming around in the mornings and at night.
Getting married at Jot's Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
