Great location and staff. The cottages are amazing. Clean and really clean. My daughter and I loved the heated pool. Thinking about booking time there is June next summer.
My family visited this small hotel last week and had a great time! I LOVED the free washer/dryer on the grounds. So helpful for a beach vacation! There were also grills to use, with provided tools. These were clean and right near their small beach. We saw dolphins swimming in the water as we ate!
Went for 3 days and wished we stayed longer. Our adult daughter, her husband and grandchild had their own; perfect set up for us. We each had privacy but plenty of shared time. Staff is incredible. Parking is easy, no hassle, and no parking garages. Cottages are adorable and equipped with everything you need.
This is my second stay at Key West Cottages, and it continues to impress. For the price, the entire experience is five stars — amazing staff, clean and well-kept cottages, and everything you need for a great island getaway. They even provide bikes to explore the island, which is a fantastic touch.
Getting married at Key West Cottages
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
