From the reviews
Our granddaughter's wedding reception was here! We helped set up, decorate, and tear down. The staff was so helpful, kind, and accommodating! There are always little things you or your catering forget; they totally came through for us!
We had our wedding here in May 2016 and it was an incredible experience! The community center is a beautiful space with an amazing and accessible location. The staff- (Jody and Debbie especially) were so accommodating and helpful, they made sure that we had everything we needed to make our day perfect.
My daughter had her wedding reception there. The facilities were nice. And the staff was extremely helpful.
We happened to be there for the towns local "dory days" celebration and the community center hosted a fish fry that we attended. It was a great community center with lots of local historical information as well as sone very friendly and helpful staff. Stop on in and see what's going on. And the fish fry was delicious!
Getting married at Kiawanda Community Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
