From the reviews
Awesome spot for a drink and some grub when you're at the beach. The scenery from there is super beautiful. They've got outside seating, and there was even a fireplace out there to keep warm – very cool and good vibes.
Our family had such a great experience at Pelican Brewing in Pacific City that I had to leave a review. We had planned a beach evening with our two daughters, but one of them needed a special food modification.
First off, get a patio seat, great views of one of the three "haystack" rocks along the Oregon Coast. The patio is also dog and kid friendly. The service was a little slow for how quiet inside was it was somewhat busy outside however. Our food was pretty good, better than the beer.
This restaurant has held a special place for us for over 20 years. Today was a great memory for the books. A cozy lunch - Dave our sever was kind - attentive and had a great sense of humor. Honestly some of the best service we’ve received in ages. The chowder was delicious!
Getting married at Pelican Brewing – Pacific City
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
