From the reviews
This is our absolute favorite place to stay in Crystal River! The rooms are clean and large. The full kitchen (with plates/bowls/cups/pots/pans/silverware) is so convenient for those who don't want to go out to eat. The boat slips are wonderful and have the option for covered or floating docks. The pool is amazing!
I absolutely enjoyed my stay! As soon as you walk in to the room you feel right at home. The place is so cozy, clean, and just perfect. I love the location, the spring pool is incredible. Highly recommend staying here if youre passing through.
What a gem! It was like stepping back in time and staying in an old motor-lodge. This place did not get stuck in time though, the room is modern and very well kept. The first thing that impressed me was the communication, they send you a text letting you know the room is ready. I have never stayed in a place so clean!
Excellent 1950s Florida experience. Great, quiet, on-water location with very clean room with efficiency kitchen. Short walk to several good restaurants with fresh seafood. One-of-a-kind, spring fed swimming pool. One parking spot per room with lot next door for additional vehicle(s). Office closes around dinner time.
Getting married at King’s Bay Lodge
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
