From the reviews
A beautiful building, generous service and incredible history. They took wonderful care of us as we celebrated my parents’ 60th anniversary, having had their wedding reception there in 1964. This club is a true gem that has only improved with time.
Had our class reunion here. Very nice. Great appetizers, friendly staff. Beautiful view of Lake Superior from the patio area.
We are so glad that we picked The Kitchi Gammi Club for our wedding this summer! The care with which this club has been maintained is truly unmatched. The food service was great and everything went smoothly. Jenn replied to countless emails and phone calls from me for 9 months planning this event.
Gorgeous building; historic design and handcrafted details rarely found in our time. Much of the furniture and art appear to be original, with tasteful updates dappled throughout. The staff were exemplary, and everything is spotless. Not a hint of dust, not even in the fireplaces.
Getting married at Kitchi Gammi Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
