Gorgeous venue, was there for a friend's wedding. It has amazing views, is right on the ocean and was pretty cool hearing the waves crashing as the couple did their vows. And lots of great spots for excellent photos. And the sunset there was amazing, definitely recommend for a wedding in Maui.
Kukahiko Estate is simply gorgeous, perfect for an intimate small wedding like ours on 9/15/18. The house itself is exceptional with ample space totally worth serving as a stand-in if it rains, and the back yard is just absolutely breathtaking.
The location is ideal. Right on the ocean where turtles often seen close to shore. The main house has two bedrooms three bathrooms, a large kichen, good size dinning area. There's a large living room with glass sliding doors that open to expand the outdoors.
Most beautiful place for a wedding! Surf comes in and hits the rocks just perfect for a dramatic effect. Sunset will take your breath away!
Getting married at Kukahiko Estate
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
