“Beautiful scenery very private beautiful yurt.”
From the reviews
Had an exceptional trip, with one teeny tiny hiccup. Booked two nights in a yurt with a private hot tub, and it was phenomenal. Beautiful scenery very private beautiful yurt. The shower had good water pressure, beautiful soft towels, very cozy bed.
I love this campground. It's on a small lake on Friday Harbor and they do a wonderful job keeping up the grounds. Not even a stick on the ground when you arrive in summer season. It's well run and has a little country store with minimal hours and a rental booth for little paddle boats and things.
This is a family friendly, fun area to retreat with super friendly staff! Lots of activities, free bikes and paddle boats. We enjoyed the full sized checkers and the Tie-Die activity! Quiet place to RV. Hook-ups are great. No sewer on the island but they have clean shower and bathrooms facilities!
Stayed here at the RV campground October 5-7 2025.5 spaces, electric & water.Nice and flat.Good view of the lake & forest. Awesome campground.Very quiet when we were there. We were the only people in the RV campground. We were a couple of hours late getting out due to car trouble and they did not charge us extra.
Getting married at Lakedale Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
