From the reviews
Came here to explore and stumbled on the Fondy food truck festival. Simply a ton of trucks! Hard to choose but finally decided on a Korean corn dog Besides that this is an excellent park which is a series of small islands connected by bridges. There is a marina and a lighthouse, great view of the lake.
We were only going to be in Fond Du Lac, WI for a day and found out it coinsided with one of their big summer festivals called Walleye Weekend! I grew up in South Dakota and I love walleye, so we went. What a beautiful park and huge! Located right on Lake Winnebago. Beautiful views!
This is a great park with playgrounds for each age range. They have a plethora of swings. There is a splash pad that the kids love. Not to mention, it is close to the lake and had a beautiful view. There is also a small train and some other kids rides across the street for inexpensive. My boy loves the park.
Nice cool place to sit and soak up the scenery. It has a park just for kids with swings, zip line, tall and small slides. Water, restrooms, and an ice cream truck for everyone to enjoy. Flowers blooming, the fishing is great, and the park train for a ride around the park is awesome.
Getting married at Lakeside Park
Lakeside Park is a public beach or park, so a ceremony here almost always needs a permit from the managing city, county, or state parks office — and the rules matter: many public beaches cap your guest count, set ceremony windows, and restrict what you can set up (some ban chairs, arches, and amplified sound entirely). There's no on-site coordinator, catering, or weather backup, so you'll bring your own vendors and a rain plan. The payoff is a stunning setting at a fraction of a private venue's cost. Start with our public-beach permit guide, then call the local office to confirm this season's rules.
