Lakeside Resort & 3812 Bistro was a lovely and peaceful cabin stay. The cabin was clean, quiet, well-equipped, and very dog-friendly, which we really appreciated. The price also felt reasonable.
We stayed here for 4 nights in Cabin 19. The cottage is very nice, with a great mattress. it worked well for adults and medium dog. There is a bit of road noise, but it wasn't a problem for us. The staff is very friendly and professional. The grounds are nice to walk the dog around.
Great little cabin with all the immenidies. The grounds were beautiful. Gazebos and a fire pit. The view of the lake with a waterfall was a bonus. We had a drink at the restaurant on the resort and met the owner. She was friendly and told us a lot about the place. The staff was great as well.
We stayed here 3 nights with our in-laws for a graduation weekend. The beds and views were fantastic, and it was so nice having a restaurant on site when needed. The staff was super friendly and helpful. My mother-in-law said this resort was one of the best places she's ever stayed. Win-Win!
Getting married at Lakeside Resort & 3812 Bistro
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
