“The beachfront location absolutely stunning - the view is so close to the water, it feels like you're right on the ocean.”
From the reviews
We stayed in room 36 and it was such a wonderful room! The layout was so functional and decorated beautifully! A short walk to watch the most beautiful sunset! From our balcony we watched people surfing. What a great getaway!
The rooms are small, but efficient & cute. Not a "modern" feel, but in a charming way. Staff were super friendly & helpful. Great view of the water, but it's on an angle so the waves go from left to right. 🙂 Bonus is that you didn't get baked by the sun in the evening.
Wow!! What a gem!!! One of those places you don’t even want to review cause you want it to remain a secret…. The rooms are so well appointed and cozy. Walk right out onto the beach from the first floor. Hear the waves from the ocean all night. Every other beach-front room in Seaside is more expensive.
My wife and I were looking for a quick getaway from Portland and found Lanai at the Cove. Not only was it one of the only places available, but it was one of the better rates, so we locked it in immediately. It must have been fate, because what a great find it was! We weren't looking for anything fancy.
Getting married at Lanai at the Cove
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
