Michael Casella our bellman felt like family after 5 days. What a wonderful person & great representative of the hotel. Unfortunately the suite we were in had issues which was a disappointment as we splurged on this room.
Me my sister and daughter spent 4 days at LaPlaya and it was outstanding, best service , no need to bring any towels chairs or anything, the pool area so clean and the beach area so wonderful. The workers by the beach area so polite and bring chairs to you.
Amazing oceanfront property. Staff is amazing. They go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. The rooms are a great size and the beach is pristine. It is great to have a private section where you can get down around 9 am and still have a front row chair setup.
Getting married at LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
