From the reviews
We had a wonderful stay at Lido Beach Resort and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The location is beautiful, with stunning beach views and a relaxing atmosphere that made our trip truly enjoyable.
We’re currently staying at Cirque St. Armands Beachside but had full access to Lido Beach Resort—and we’re so glad we took advantage of it! We spent the day enjoying lunch, drinks, and the beach, and everything was fantastic.
The lido beach resort has everything you need for a great getaway. Tiki bar and restaurant sever excellent meals with great variety. 2 pools, many areas to gather. Intimate and for large parties. 2 pools and a private beach area. You really don't have to leave.
I didn’t use the resort, but the area near Lido Beach was gorgeous. It’s the best beach in Sarasota other than Anna Maria. We were able to rent an umbrella and chairs for $50 a set and could use them until 5 p.m., which was great. There were no rocks, the sand was soft, and the water was somewhat clear.
Getting married at Lido Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
