From the reviews
This place is a true gem. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every bit. We stayed in a 3 BD 2 story unit. It was just recently remodeled. Honestly, I think the appliances were brand new. Getting a cup of coffee and taking it out on the deck to watch the ocean is so peaceful. Easy access to the beach.
We've been coming to the Lighthouse Resort for several years. We stayed in the cottages before the oceanside units were built. The cottages are a bit rough, but if that doesn't bother you, you will like them. However they could definitely use a facelift. The oceanside units are very nice.
My family and I have come to the lighthouse oceanfront resort for a well over a decade. My kids went to Disneyland once and said they’d rather come to the lighthouse oceanfront resort. This place is a cozy, dog and kid friendly place to relax and unwind.
We had a wonderful time! Great location and the hot tub felt great after our day of walking the beach and going through town. Our vroom was great, we had the 3 bedroom suite with the full kitchen. The only reason it got 4 stars is ot had an odd smell that wouldn't leave even though we aired it out for several hours.
Getting married at Lighthouse Oceanfront Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
