From the reviews

The Long Beach convention center, it's one of the best venues in socal. They have the arena as well the teather where they have memorable concerts and very good shows. Not only that, but to mention the weather in the area it is amazing to feel the nice breeze from the ocean in your face and a kiss from the sun.

Only issue was confusion to where the entrance was. Obviously I first went to the front doors to find we had to use entry on back of property. This was not an issue with convention center but more the event.

Animé Los Angeles (ALA) is one of my favorite anime conventions, and it never fails to impress me with its vibrant atmosphere and diverse offerings. Venue Highlights. The convention has moved around to various locations over the years, but I truly believe that this venue location is the best yet for photographers.

This venue is very convenient with tons of restaurants and things to do nearby plus easy parking. The production of Disney on Ice was a real crowd pleaser and the venue was a great setting to enjoy the program.

Getting married at Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
