I will probably never stay anywhere else when I go down to visit. I could live in this resort! The resort is perfect, the rooms at the best, the views are gorgeous, and the staff has always been helpful and pleasant. The location of the resort puts me close to all the places I love.
Beautiful place to stay for a nice vacation. Views from the balcony and windows were outstanding. They're still working on things as the hurricane from a year ago hit the area hard. Still, even with work being done, it was a great stay. It's convenient having Flippers next door. 5 stars!
We stayed 4 nights in July. Six Positives: 1.) There weren’t many people there so it was nice and quiet. 2.) Pool and hot tub are nice and loved that we were often the only ones using them 3.) View of the bay from the pool is lovely 4.) We felt safe in the building. 5.) The overall decor is lovely. 6.
What a great resort! It may not be the most luxurious spot around, but it more than makes up for it with charm and comfort. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time I’m in the area. The rooms were spotless and well-kept, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Getting married at Lovers Key Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
