From the reviews
We typically alternate staying toward the town center and near the southern part of the island. Whenever we are craving the town center we always book at Diamondhead. It’s proximal to the downtown area, but has everything you need on site.
We had the most incredible stay at Diamond Head Resort in Ft. Myers FL! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The views were absolutely breathtaking, the amenities were top-notch, and every detail was perfect. My wife and I will definitely be back!
We had a wonderful stay at DiamondHead Beach Resort! The rooms were beautiful, very spacious, and having a kitchenette made our stay even more convenient. The bathroom was also clean, modern, and roomy. The food at Cōste Island Cuisine was delicious, and we especially enjoyed visiting Torrey, the bartender.
Room was spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable, one of the nicest I've slept on at a hotel. The mini kitchen was great to put leftovers. The resort was next to the beach so that makes the getting there very convenient. The resort is located about a 10 min walk to the downtown Fort Myers Beach.
Getting married at DiamondHead Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
