I had my wedding at Lowndes Grove last weekend, and it truly could not have been a more perfect day. Everything from the catering and bar services, to the planning services, to the stunning views, to the spectacular sunset, to the gorgeous house onsite, and everything in between is superb.
Just as beautiful as it was 23 years ago when we had our wedding reception at Lowndes Grove. We were able to visit with our children while they were setting up for this afternoon's wedding. Thanks for giving us access, Jillian! We recreated a couple of the photos from our reception.
The PPHG team is absolutely amazing. I got married on March 6, 2026 at the Lowndes Grove property and also hosted my rehearsal dinner and welcome party at the American Theatre. Everything was absolutely perfect — the food, drinks, service, and overall experience were so impressive.
Attended a wedding and reception there, I must say it was 1st class for sure, the scenic views, the history and the staff were absolutely on point. I highly recommend.
Getting married at Lowndes Grove
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
