An absolutely GORGEOUS place to have a wedding! We had our wedding at Marianmade in August, 2021. It was a beautiful, open, and airy space to have a (covid-conscious) wedding. We used the space for both our rehearsal dinner and ceremony/reception. The space is so well-kept and impeccably cared for.
We got married at Marianmade Farms this September (09/07/19). Despite a hurricane lingering offshore, the day was absolutely amazing! The grounds were beautifully manicured and full of gorgeous colors. We knew after our first visit that Marianmade was the perfect venue for our wedding weekend.
We got married at Marianmade Farm July 4th weekend in 2021 and couldn't have asked for a more magical setting. Our family stayed at the quaint cottage while the rest of us stayed in nearby Boothbay harbor, just a few minutes away.
Choosing a venue can be so difficult - there are so many options in Maine and they all have their own unique perks. But when we drove up to Marianmade Farm, all the other venue options were crossed off our list.
Getting married at Marianmade Farm
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
