We loved our quiet serene visit at the cottage. They were very nice to let us come early so we could get ready and make it on time to our friends wedding. It was very peaceful drinking morning coffee on the porch or in the chairs under the tree. The housekeeper was so sweet and made sure we had what we needed.
We loved our stay at Marina Bay Cottages. We stayed in cabin 20 and it was absolutely perfect. The cottages look freshly renovated and were done very nicely. A lot of the old charm is still there with beautiful new finishes with no detail missed. The cabin was great for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 toddlers).
We had a wonderful stay at Marina Bay Cottages in Waterford, CT! The cottage we stayed in was charming and cozy. It was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing! So kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit.
Came from Rhode Island and I had the BEST time at the Marina Bay Cottages. The host was so fast with replies and even helped us find the perfect beach (I didn’t know we had a free beach pass, which was a plus because most beaches were $45+ for non residents!) Not only was the room cute, the location was perfect.
Getting married at Marina Bay Cottages
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
