Third time staying here and it was definitely a charm (as were the other two) thanks to the great service, especially from Leslie (MoJo), Nick and Abel (among the rest of the fantastic valet team) - thank you! The team is always so gracious and generous to our daughter and dog so definitely kid and dog friendly.
Room was nice enough, got a pool view even though I booked a water view not the end of the world since I was only staying one night and I got a decent price for the room.
We found Marina Del Rey hotel a few years ago and really enjoy the hotel. We visit LA about three times a year and it has been our go to hotel. The grounds, amenities and location are perfect for us and our dog.
We booked this hotel for our wedding since we were getting married in the Marina and it was perfect! The view and location was ideal. We also made a room block for our guests to book through and Katy Rothstein was the best for helping to set this up! She answered every question and helped arrange any request.
Getting married at Marina Del Rey Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
