I had an amazing stay at the Marriott Kauai Beach Club. From the room itself to the hotel staff and the beautiful grounds, everything was excellent. The bed was very comfortable, and the views were absolutely breathtaking.
We spent 5 nights at this property and had a very pleasant stay overall. The resort is large, beautiful, and well maintained, and it is definitely way above the average vacation club property.
I didn't know the location because it was my first time going there, but after spending a few days, the airport was close, and there were costco and shops nearby, so it was convenient in many ways. It was so cool and nice because there was a beach right out of the hotel swimming pool.
We had an ocean front 1 bedroom on the second floor in the Wai'Ale Ale tower. I honestly don't think it could have been better. So close to the ocean. It's fun to watch the comings and goings of the port and the beach is just great. We could literally lay in bed and it felt like we were on the beach.
Getting married at Marriott's Kaua'i Beach Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
