From the reviews

These gardens are wonderful and there are a variety of tours you can take. This year we did the sunset tour of the Allerton Gardens where you get to tour the grounds of the estate located down by the beach.

The National Tropical Botanical Garden tour is on National Geographic's top 50 things to do in a lifetime. We agree! The bus is air conditioned. Do buy a packet of bug repellent for $2 in the garden shop.

Fantastic tour through beautiful gardens. We did this tour due to rain and a cancelation of other plans, but it turned out to be very fun.and interesting with beautiful views and history of the area.

This is a great way to see local and non local plants, flowers and trees with beautiful views of the landscapes, and waterfalls. There is a pit stop so you can use the restroom and/or get some water. There are a couple of locations where they filmed Jurassic Park and Pirates of the Caribbean which is very cool to see.

Getting married at McBryde & Allerton Garden, National Tropical Botanical Garden

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
