From the reviews
My wife and I had our wedding reception here in an October 2022. Messina's and their staff created such a wonderful cocktail hour and reception for us and our guests. We looked at so many venues in New Orleans and this place was hands down the place that we wanted as soon as we saw it.
STUNNING! Our wedding at Messina’s at the Terminal could not have been more magical! The attention to detail is incredible. They are with you every step of the planning process to ensure your wedding day is magical. Food was very important to us and the food here is AMAZING.
Everything for our Awards Luncheon was lovely. Your staff team was extremely attentive and ensured the entire meal service ran smoothly. We especially appreciated that the team leader ensured our speakers received their meals before the program concluded. This was truly above and beyond our expectations!
Lizzy did a phenomenal job working with me to plan this event! The feedback we received from our attendees was very positive. Your staff was pleasant and very helpful. I will suggest and use your venue again should we need another event location.
Getting married at Messina's at the Terminal Venue
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
