From the reviews
This stay was a delight! I stayed in one of the shore-front cabins, and had the best time soaking up some of the PNW specialties! We took advantage of their special oyster package add-on and it was honestly one of my favorite parts! Those were some of the tastiest oysters I’ve had. Absolutely a must and fun to do.
Absolutely a gem of a spot. We were here diving and the house reef is really fun. Flagpole is also accessible with a bit of a shore swim but is Fantastic! The tank fills were fast and convenient. Sat nights in the summer they have live music and grilled food.
We were recently cruising (off season) on our 28 ft boat, and desperately needed a shower. The state parks on Hood Canal were either closed or did not have a shower. We called several places, and this was the ONLY place that would allow us to take a shower for a reasonable price. THANK YOU, Mike’s Beach Resort!
We recently had the pleasure of staying at Mike's Beach Resort, and I can't stop raving about this hidden gem along the coastline. From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the breathtaking view that greeted me, and my entire experience exceeded all expectations.
Getting married at Mike's Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
