I booked the 3rd floor of Mission Boathouse for a 150-person event for The Cabot Theater member community. Priscilla and her whole team were a dream to work with. They were organized, helpful, and communicative about options within our budget.
The restaurant is in a beautiful location overlooking the water. The interior has very nice small decorative details with an aquatic theme. The parking lot is small and there's another parking lot under the bridge. The staff are great and accommodating.
Went there yesterday on their opening night to the public. We had the lobster n' crab cakes, meatballs, and calamari to start, and blackened salmon and steak tips for the entrees. Everything was excellent!
Where do I begin! Just an amazing place! There are real chefs in the kitchen ! I have played music for over 50 years and have been in the finest hotels in New England and this place tops them all with the best food, both in the pub and the functions, I gain nothing from my reviews and do honest reviews I have over 150…

Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
